How Ben and Jerry became Amy and Ben

P266

Until last Saturday everything has been ok with our animals. Beside Flo, the cat, Ben and Jerry are members of our family. Those both are male dwarf rabbits, living happily together in their enclosure.

So that Saturday we drove to the birthday party of Carmens brother when my mobile phone rang. Janina has been really excited. "Mom, dad, you have to come home immediately! One of the rabbits is not male."

And yep, the black one has gotten two little babies. The breeder made a mistake. Sadly both babies didn't survived, everything has been too unprepared. But now instead of Ben and Jerry we've got Amy and Ben.

Yesterday Ben has been castrated, we already planned this for both next week, when I've got holidays. Now both have to stay separated by a mesh for 6 weeks until everything is secure.

How the iPhone changed the way I photograph

P258

I'never been a real photographed, never had a (D)SLR. But I liked to take photos with my bridge camera, often close-ups of people who didn't recognized me. But since now about four month I've got my iPhone 4 - and it has a brilliant camera built-in. Sure, I had a smartphone and other mobiles with cameras before. But the high quality of the iPhone camera, together with the display and the available photo apps are pure fun.

So now I very often look around for interesting views, because I know I've got my equipment with me. And I like to modify those pictures, with Camera+, with TiltShiftGen, with PhotoShop Express.

The results? Sometimes strange, sometimes great, but always interesting experiences motivating for more experiments.
