Tron Legacy

Tron-legacy

Yesterday afternoon I watched Tron Legacy together with our younger daughter Vanessa. Two friends of mine who watched the movie before have been a bit disappointed. But I didn't expected too much, just good made entertainment for families. And that's exactly what we got. After watching the old Tron in 1983 the event yesterday has been a good continuation. My favorites have been the role of Quorra, a beautiful and mysterious being, and the soundrack by Draft Punk. OK, the part with Clus motivation and his speach in front of his forces have been a bit too much, here the topic has more potential. But hey, it's just a movie.

Btw, I once again recognized for me, that 3D is a nice effect. But it's neither an important stylistic device nor does the movie break without it. Maybe this will once be better when we've got real holographic cinemas.

Dreamcars

P137

Last Tuesday on my way back home from a customer I had the chance to have a quick stop at a very special car dealer near the route. This dealer - Tamsen - sells dreamcars, like Bentley, Maserati, Ferrari, Lamborghini, and naturally my favorite: Aston Martin.

So I took a look at some V8 Vantage, N420, DB9, DBS (both also as Volante), and Rapide. Sadly my preferred V12 Vantage hasn't been there. But I took place in the N420 and it fits like a glove. What a great feeling, together with the smell of the leather.

I don't think I'll ever own one, even the older ones are by far too expensive for my income. But there's still the dream ... *sigh*
